What guy is that?
The guy that's spent so much time in the back of an active squad that owning a retired one is the next logical step.
Or.
The guy that wants a screaming deal on a bare bones, high mileage, well maintained hoonage machine.

There's nothing wrong with being "that guy." Everyone's had fun at some random stranger's expense at some point or another.
Right?
Guys…?

No.
The guy with a small penis that wants to be a cop.
Honestly if I bought this (which I'm not), it would lose the steelies and lights immediately. Even though it looks cool, I'm not trying to be a douchebag.

Oh, look. Here's another Craigslister who didn't bother to pop the hood before posting his ad.
So this Charger Pursuit has a "police-spec motor," huh? So... uh, okay then? Dodge builds Charger Pursuits with both the 3.6L Pentastar (mainly for your local Barney Fifes) and the 5.7L Hemi (mainly for your local Rodney Farvas). Which one does this car have? Besides, Dodge to my knowledge doesn't really do much in the way of performance upgrades for either engine for Pursuit-spec Chargers. I think the cooling system is the only thing that is different versus a civilian model.
Anyway, ranting aside, that looks exactly like my car minus the SRT8 rims. Mine obviously isn't a Pursuit, though.
I think I'm going to add Mopar '11 Stripes soon and paint the grille and rims gloss black (like a Blacktop model). Making potheads and pill slingers in rusty Geo Metro hatchbacks putter along at five below the limit was sort of fun for about a month. Then it started to get annoying. Oh, and other cops will know you aren't one of them. So there's no additional hooning benefits.
For the record, I didn't want to look like a cop. I don't own a Glock and five different pairs of SWAT BDUs I picked up from a local milsurp store. Chargers look tragically awkward with anything smaller than 19" rims and the stock chrome grille just looked wrong considering the car doesn't have chrome anywhere else really. Black is the only color that looked right with the Tungsten Grey Metallic paint.

It would be fun to see how slow you can make people go. Keep a notepad handy for personal bests. If you can slow all lanes of freeway traffic to 20 below the limit just by gradually slowing down yourself, you win.

I almost bought one of these, but the wagon was cheaper and popped up at just the right time.
I dont see whats wrong with these cars. If I were hard pressed for money and needed a DD, a lot of police auction vehicles really fill the void and are not hard to find for decent prices. Granted, I know someone who would be able to tell me which car out of a specific department is worth it.
I do plan on putting those steelies on the wagon, and I dont see anything wrong with it. Theyre durable and cheap. Best of all, they look menacing on the LX cars. I most certainly dont pretend to be a cop, and wouldnt want to. But to the point, theyre great barebones HEMI machines, as has already been said. Nothing wrong with that. Not for everyone, but Im okay with them...
